| Hi all! Man, it's hard to keep up with blogs when you have little ones running around. MOLLY
Molly is so fun to be around. She's 4, and quite the little mommy. She is constantly keeping us on our toes with the rules. "Stupid is a bad word", "oh my gosh is a bad word", "we don't talk with our mouths full", "we wash our hands before we eat", "we don't yell". She also tilts her head when she's talking and says things like, "you know that?", "no?", and our favorite is, "what you said?". I've been working through pre-K material at home with her, and she is catching on well. She can count, identify and write numbers up to 100, do basic addition up to 15, identify and write all of her letters, and read about 30 words. She is not too fond of the lower case "a" - and will tell me that "lower a is hard for me" whenever I have her write it - but she keep working at it, and I know she'll get it soon! PAUL
Paul turned 3 in January. He has loads of character and stubborness. Paul can be whatever he sets his mind on. If he wants to be sweet and loving, he will suffocate you with kisses and hugs. But, if he wants to do something, you will be hard pressed to stop him. He is very happy and is sensitive to his siblings feelings - when he accidentally knocks over his brother(which happens all the time), he carefully picks Jonny up, hugs him and says, "I'm sorry, Jonny. Are you okay? I love you." He is also VERY energetic and bouncy - and he has a hard time sitting still at times. My Paul is hard to keep up with, but oh so fun to watch! Paul loves counting things, and he likes talking about Molly's schoolwork. When asked how to spell his name, he responds, "P-U-L". He's also doing a good job with potty-training, and so I'm hopeful he will be out of pull ups (except at bedtime) by the time Bobby is born. JONNY
Jonny is 21 months. He is SUCH a sweetheart. He loves watching his big brother and sister and trying to mimic them. He is fairly calm and quiet natured. He loves playing downstairs with them, and he enjoys feeling like a "big boy" by using a real plate with utensils at the table. He talks quite a bit, and is, by far, the best eater in the family. He is my sweety. Robert Alexander (BOBBY)
Bobby is growing well. I'm 29 weeks pregnant (due June 12th), and the throwing up has FINALLY subsided. Everything is going well with my pregnancy - his heart rate is perfect, his size is the 40%, he has all of his fingers and toes, and he moves quite a bit. We are SO excited to meet him and see what his unique personality will be like. Colorado is beautiful this time of year! We LOVE going up into the mountains for long, scenic drives, and I wouldn't trade my state for any other. Have a great day all, and I'll try to get back to you soon!
